Thijs Oostveen currently serves as a Toezichthouder at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since September 2019, having previously held the role of Medewerker Toezicht. Prior experience includes a position as a Trainee in the Supervision Department at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) from November 2018 to August 2019, and working as a Redactiemedewerker at ESB Economisch Statistische Berichten between March 2018 and June 2018, contributing to the Naevo.nl website. Additionally, Thijs gained experience as a Stagiair at Centraal Planbureau in mid-2017, focusing on circular economy research. Thijs holds a Master of Science in Economic Policy from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Economics from Maastricht University, along with studies at the National University of Singapore.
