Layla Mehrabi is an experienced professional in the financial and legal sectors, currently serving as Toezichthouder Asset Management at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since August 2017, following a role as Junior Toezichthouder Asset Management. Prior experience includes working as a Jurist at Zilveren Kruis, focusing on Persoonsgebonden Budget, and as a Medewerker Klachten at GDF SUEZ. Layla has also held positions as a Werkstudent at Blauw Research and completed a student-stage in advocatuur at Loyens & Loeff, while participating in a Masterclass M&A at Houthoff. Early career contributions include writing for studies in Fiscaal Recht and Bedrijfsrecht at Stichting Intermediair Rotterdam, and serving as a Commissaris Studiereis at European Law Students' Association.
