Karen E. Willcox is a Board Member at Autonomy Institute and a Professor at The University of Texas at Austin. Karen was previously a Visiting Researcher at Boeing in the Blended-Wing-Body Aircraft Design Group. Prior to that, they were on the faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for 17 years.

Karen E. Willcox has a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science from The University of Auckland.
