Paul Monteiro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Paul started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Channelpoint, Inc. and then moved on to work as a Senior Software Engineer at Redpoint Technologies from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2011, they worked at Smiths Detection as a Software Manager, where they played a significant role in the architecture, implementation, and support of software used to monitor physical security devices.

In 2012, Paul worked as a Senior Associate at Pollen.io before joining Pelco by Schneider Electric in 2013. At Pelco, they had roles as a Software Engineering Team Lead and a Software Engineering Manager, leading teams responsible for software aggregating video feeds across distributed locations.

In 2014, Paul joined Codeshelf, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built applications for warehouse managers to monitor fulfillment operations. Paul then worked as an Independent Consultant in 2017, providing software development consulting services.

From 2016 to 2019, Paul worked at Geli, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later becoming a Software Program Manager and a Senior Staff Software Engineer.

Paul'smost recent position was at Autonomic, where they worked as a Senior Solutions Engineer and later became the Solutions Engineering Manager in 2020.

Paul Monteiro received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Wheaton College from 1995 to 1999.
