Ismail Özer serves as the Geschäftsführer (CEO) of CYKEN GmbH since May 2018, specializing in automotive cyber security and ensuring compliance with ISO 21434 through standardized security processes. In addition, Ismail Özer is a member of the Automotive Security Research Group, focusing on research projects related to automotive security solutions. Prior to these roles, Ismail Özer worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at Accenture from November 2020 to November 2022, where responsibilities included conducting risk analyses, developing defense strategies for automotive and industrial systems, and performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Ismail Özer holds an educational background from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
