Musannif Zahir has extensive experience in software engineering and technical management over a career spanning nearly two decades. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Automattic since September 2016, Musannif has held roles as Technical Program Manager and Technical Account Manager within the same company. Prior to Automattic, Musannif worked as a Software Engineer at World Wide Web Hosting, LLC, focusing on full-stack Ruby on Rails development and engaging with users throughout the development process. Previous roles include Manager at Acquity Group, Senior Technical Architect at Kohl's Department Stores, Technical Consultant at GSI Commerce, and Team Lead at Wells Fargo Bank. Musannif holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Management of Information Systems from the University at Buffalo and a Diploma in Applied Science from INTI College Malaysia.
