Gerhard Potgieter has a wealth of experience in the tech industry, with a strong focus on software engineering and e-commerce. Currently, Gerhard is a Software Engineering Lead at Automattic, working on innovative shipping solutions for WooCommerce stores globally. In previous roles, Gerhard led teams to enhance customer experience, build marketing tools, and maintain the open-source WooCommerce software. Gerhard also founded TweSMS, a twitter sms notification system, and has a degree in Information Technology and related fields from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
