Joana Torres is an accomplished professional in the field of regulatory affairs and cancer biology, currently serving as Associate Director in CMC Regulatory Affairs at Autolus Ltd. since February 2022, having previously held positions as Senior Manager in the same area. Prior to Autolus, Joana worked at CSL Behring from March 2018 to January 2022, progressing through roles including Global Regulatory Affairs CMC Manager, Scientist, and Specialist. Joana's early career involved research at ETH Zurich from 2012 to 2018 as a Ph.D. student in the Epigenomics Group, focusing on epigenetic regulators in Drosophila melanogaster, and at IPATIMUP as a Research Trainee in Cancer Biology. Joana holds a Ph.D. from ETH Zürich, a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Clinical Research from the University of Basel, an MSc in Human Molecular Biology from the University of Lisbon, and a BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology from NOVA School of Science and Technology.
