Sophie Matkovits serves as the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and Corporate Responsibility at Austrian Airlines since April 2021, following a tenure as Head of Public Relations and Senior Communications Manager at ÖAMTC from January 2018 to February 2021. Prior roles include Head of Press Department at the Austrian Embassy in Berlin and Personal Assistant to the Federal Minister at the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Sophie also worked as a Communications Manager within the same ministry and gained experience as an intern in the Austrian Embassy in Washington D.C. An education background includes a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Vienna and ongoing studies in Systemic Organizational Development at the Neuwaldegger Curriculum. Additional academic experiences include a high school diploma and international exchange.
