Michael Brereton is an accomplished professional in the field of restructuring and insolvency, serving as the Immediate Past President and National Board Member of the ARITA since May 2012. Currently a Partner in Restructuring & Insolvency at William Buck, Michael has extensive experience as a receiver, manager, and administrator across diverse industries, including significant engagements with ASX-listed companies. Michael's prior roles include Executive Director at KordaMentha and Senior Manager at Andersen, with early career experience at Price Waterhouse Coopers in New York and Southern Africa. Michael holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Columbia Business School and multiple degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand.
