Mark Schmidt is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of IT & Security Services at the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) since October 2019. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Group IT Manager across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Singapore at TR Pty Ltd from November 2011 to February 2019. Mark’s extensive background also includes serving as IT Manager at Watermark Intellectual Property from October 2004 to November 2011, and similar roles at FCX Performance from March 2001 to October 2004 and Blackwell Science Asia from March 1996 to March 2001. Mark Schmidt holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Project-based Management from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University.
