Billy Durrant is an experienced project director currently leading the Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch at Defence Australia. Previously, Billy served as the NSW and ACT Defence Lead, Director of Design and Project Management, and Principal at AECOM. With a background in capability management as a Staff Officer in the Australian Army's Future Land Warfare Branch and as a Senior Project Officer/Project Director at the Australian Department of Defence, Billy also held the role of Chief of Engineer Plans for the Combined Joint Task Force during Operation Inherent Resolve. Billy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from UNSW, earned between 2003 and 2008, and furthered education at UNSW from 2012 to 2015.
