Michael Brealey currently serves as the General Manager of Communications Infrastructure at the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) since December 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Screen Australia from June 2018 to December 2023. Experience also includes serving as Chief Executive Officer and Acting Executive Director at Create NSW, along with various roles in policy and strategy. Michael worked as a freelance consultant before holding significant positions at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Vodafone, and the Department of Communications and the Arts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Literature from La Trobe University, completed in 1994.
