Roy VanDerVegt is an accomplished freelance photographer with extensive experience in editorial and portraiture photography. Since May 2017, Roy has operated ROYVPHOTOGRAPHY while also serving as a freelance photographer for the Australian Associated Press (AAP), Fairfax/Ch9, and DailyMail. Prior to this, Roy worked at News Corp Australia as a Picture Editor and Senior Photographer from April 1990 to June 2017. Additionally, experience includes a senior photography role at APN News & Media from September 1986 to December 1989. Education was completed at Marryatville High from 1978 to 1982, focusing on photography.
