David operated as a self employed carpenter, contractor and designer for many years beginning in Massachusetts then moving on to Nova Scotia, Canada, the San Francisco Bay area in CA and ended up in beautiful Northwest Washington state. He loves managing projects, listening to clients and doing it right.
David spent a couple of years employed at the local community college in Seattle teaching at risk youth entry level construction skills. The program, YouthBuild, partnered with the local Habitat for Humanity and yes they actually built detached and multi family structures with his students. The next nine years were devoted to Contractor Direct Sales for Canyon Creek Cabinets designing a variety of built ins for high end homes. He then decided to open and operate a Thai Restaurant with his wife (yes she is Thai) were he enjoyed engaging customers and problem solving. This was a great training ground for customer service as well.
He loves the outdoors and enjoys sea kayaking, sailing, scuba diving and underwater hockey although he has hung up his flippers. He will gladly talk your ear off if you are curious to learn more about any of these.
