The Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) was created in 2020 as the independent entity responsible for the overall implementation of Light Rail in Austin. ATP’s mission is to deliver on the voters' transit vision in partnership with the community — and in a way that embeds equity, sustainability, and transparency as overarching priorities. ATP is driven by data, which includes community input, and is committed to meeting voters’ goals and honoring Austin’s values.

The Senior Vice Presidents at Austin Transit Partnership lead specialized departments to ensure the successful implementation of the Light Rail project. They oversee areas including environment and project development, program controls, legal services, engineering, equity and community partnership, and real estate, facilities, and technology services.
