Shari French is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-S) with extensive experience in mental health care. Currently serving at Austin Counseling and Trauma Specialists, Shari provides therapy focusing on bariatric surgery processes along with addressing issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma. Previous roles include Behavioral Health Advocate at UnitedHealth Group, Behavioral Health Specialist at Community Health Center of Snohomish County, and Program Manager for Court Services at Sound Mental Health. Shari also has experience in private practice, providing court-ordered mental health assessments, and has been involved in collaborative care initiatives. Shari holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
