Dr. Monique Umphrey currently serves as Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor at Austin Community College since December 2021, having previously held the position of President at Houston Community College's Northeast campus from May 2019 to December 2021. Prior roles include leadership positions at Cuyahoga Community College in various capacities focused on IT education and workforce development, and senior project management at HCA. Dr. Umphrey possesses extensive experience in project management, strategic leadership, and educational instruction, having also worked in educational roles, including as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Phoenix. Dr. Umphrey holds a Doctor of Management degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus, a Master's in Accounting and Information Systems, and a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems, all contributing to a solid foundation in both technical and managerial expertise.
