Candace Hunter possesses extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Teacher Residency Coordinator at Austin Community College since September 2018, where support is provided to pre-service teachers. Candace has also been involved with The Learning Solutions Group as the Founder and Professional Learning Coach since December 2016. Previous roles include Social Studies Teacher, Teacher Mentor, and Coach in Austin Independent School District from August 2014 to December 2016, and a History Teacher in Manor ISD and Austin ISD, specializing in U.S. History. Candace began a teaching career in Abilene ISD as a History Teacher from December 1998 to May 2002. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Abilene Christian University.
