Alan Murray has extensive experience in engineering and technology, currently serving as a Program Architect at Ausgrid since January 2011, where responsibilities include the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) Program and leading the Ausgrid Licence Conditions Program. Previous roles at Ausgrid include Engineering Integration Manager and Project Engineer, focusing on SCADA system integration and smart grid solutions. Murray also held the position of Principal Engineer - Systems Integration at VIMOC Technologies and contributed as a Visiting Scholar at Berkeley Energy & Climate Institute. A background in research as a Research Engineer at the University of Newcastle and a Hardware Design Engineer internship at Agere Systems complements Murray's qualifications. Academically, Murray holds a PhD and multiple degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Newcastle.
