Seann Birkelund is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience across various leadership roles in prominent companies. Currently serving as the VP of Finance at Aurora since December 2024, Birkelund previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Route from January 2023 to November 2024. Prior to that, Birkelund was the Interim Chief Financial Officer at Waymo, where responsibilities included leading strategic finance functions for the self-driving car division of Alphabet. Additional roles include Global Head of FP&A and COO & CFO at Stackla, Chief Financial Officer at First Aid Shot Therapy, and SVP of Finance & Business Development at Education.com. A background in venture capital was established at Azure Capital Partners, and initial consulting experience was gained at Booz Allen Hamilton.
