Monica Tapia Boyer is currently a Board Member at the Illinois Library Association and a Senior Manager of Children Services at the Aurora Public Library District. Monica Tapia also serves as a Board Member at the Bartlett Public Library District. In the past, Monica worked as the Youth Services Manager at the Fox River Valley Public Library District and as a Book Reviewer at The Horn Book, Inc. Prior to that, Monica Tapia held various positions at the Schaumburg Township District Library. Monica has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Translation and Business Management from Northern Illinois University.
