Jing Ma

As a population scientist, Professor Ma studies cancer etiology, prediction, prevention, and intervention. She served as PIs and co-PIs of hundreds of million dollar research funds from NIH and published over 200 peer review research papers in the top scientific journals. Dr. Ma had served as the co-PI of the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) Project ā€œAdvancing Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention in Chinaā€. She is recently invited by the Sichuan Provincial Peopleā€™s Hospital to serve as the funding director of their Center for Translational Medicine and Transformative Healthcare.

Dr. Ma is currently working on establishing a China Center at the Department of Populational Medicine (DPM), Harvard Medical School, with the mission of improving health care delivery and population health through innovative research and teaching. Since 2013, she also serves as the President and Secretary-General of the U.S.-China Health Summit, which is dedicated to the advancement of global health by promoting the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences of healthcare leaders from the U.S., China, and other countries through high-level strategic dialogues, leadership development programs, and applied research.
