David Lorentzson is a highly experienced engineer specializing in model-based calibration and control system development within the automotive sector. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Aurobay since January 2021, David combines expertise in calibration, data acquisition, and modeling with leadership in project deliveries. Previous roles include Senior Engine Calibration Engineer at Volvo Cars, where responsibilities encompassed methodology development for SI engines, and positions focusing on combustion system calibration at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. David has also held several engineering roles at Volvo Cars and Cool Engineering, with foundational experience gained through summer internships at Johnson Matthey. David holds a Bachelorā€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, obtained in 2010.
