Gemma Thomson is an experienced management professional with a focus on change management, engagement, and transformation strategy. Currently serving as the Manager of Change & Engagement at Aurizon since August 2019, Gemma leads initiatives that impact 1,400 employees, partnering with leadership to deliver meaningful transformation. Previously, Gemma held various roles at Accenture Australia, including Manager in Management Consulting, where deep relationships with clients in the Government & Health sectors were developed. Additional experience includes consultancy work with Russo Recruitment Australia and a foundational work placement at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology. Educational qualifications include an Executive Graduate Certificate in Business from QUT and a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Business from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
