Balaji Vasantharajan attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for an unknown period of time. From 1987 to 1990, they attended Kanhan Valley School and from 1990 to 1993, they attended Mount Carmel Convent High School. Balaji then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Madras from 1996 to 1999. Following that, they obtained a professional degree as a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, studying from 1997 to 2002, with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
