Javier Anson Santos, CPA, currently serves as a Tax Compliance Associate at Aurifer Middle East Tax since October 2023. Prior to this role, Javier held positions at Kanaan & Associates | BKR International Independent Member Firm, where Javier advanced from Tax Associate and External Auditor to Senior Tax Associate and External Auditor between February 2020 and September 2023, focusing on VAT computations and returns. Javier began a career in tax at EY from July 2017 to January 2020 as a Tax Associate in Global Compliance and Reporting, providing services across various tax types, including income tax and VAT. Early experience includes an internship in Risk Assurance Services at PwC Philippines in late 2015. Javier earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from De La Salle University from 2012 to 2016.
