Julian Perkins is currently a Non-Executive Director at Aura Energy. Julian has also previously held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at the A J Parker Cooperative Research Centre for Hydrometallurgy, and Mining Services Manager and Mining Operations Manager at Acacia Resources Limited and Shell Company of Australia Pty Ltd, respectively.

Perkins has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. Julian has a strong background in both mining operations and research and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Julian is an expert in hydrometallurgy, with a particular focus on aluminum, gold, and base metal sectors. Perkins is committed to collaborating with others in order to find innovative solutions to challenges in the mining industry.

Julian Perkins has a M.Sc in Mineral Process Design from Imperial College, London University and an ACSM Hons in Mining & Minerals Engineering from Camborne School of Metalliferous Mining. Julian also attended Whitby Grammar School in Yorkshire, England.
