Jean-Pierre Besson has over 30 years of experience in the food industry. Jean-Pierre began their career in 1988 as a Factory Plant Director for Nestl\u00e9 Suisse. In 1991, they moved to Nestle as a Member of Direction - European Technical Coordinator. Three years later, they joined Nestl\u00e9 Russia as VP of Manufacturing and Technical Director. In 2001, they became Vice President Eastern Europe for Nestle Cesko s.r.o. and in 2007, they co-founded Augurix Diagnostics where they served as COO.

Jean-Pierre Besson earned a Master of Science in Physics from the EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 1965 and 1970.
