Denise L. began their career in 2001 as an Executive Assistant Office Manager for Mitra Hakimi Realty Group LLC, where they set up tech equipment, designed the corporate logo, and hired contractors to facilitate completion of the interior space layout. Denise managed daily office operations, overseeing the workflow and assignments of all support personnel, administering budgets, processing payroll and commissions, and generating periodic expense and data reports for the executive manager. In 2012, Denise moved into a remote support role as a Customer Service Supervisor for Asurion, where they supervised, trained, and developed a 13-15 person team in best call handling and troubleshooting procedures. In 2015, Denise became a Customer Care Professional for American Express, delivering world class customer service and cultivating positive relationships while courteously responding to client inquiries in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment. In 2017, Denise became a Lead Teacher for St. Thomas the Apostle, where they employed various classroom management and instructional strategies to create and teach engaging lessons which achieved strong engagement and participation. In 2019, Denise returned to a remote/virtual assistant role as an Executive Assistant for BELAY, where they proved herself to be an exceptional and disciplined verbal and written communicator. Finally, in 2020, Denise accepted the role of Product Operations Manager and Assistant Success Coordinator for Augmented Intelligence (AUI).

Denise L. obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, General from Western Governors University in 2016. In 2018, they began a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Mercy College, which they are currently pursuing. Denise also holds certifications from the New York State Education Department in Elementary Education 1-6 and from the New York State Department of State in Real Estate Salesperson.
