Marcus Wikars began their work experience in 2003 as a Producer at Sveng.com Productions, where they stayed until 2008. In 2008, they co-founded Lumi Technologies and served as the CTO until 2017. Marcus then co-founded Auga Technologies Ltd in 2017, where they currently hold the position of CTO and Co-Founder. In 2019, Wikars joined Katalysen Ventures as a Partner, and in 2020, they became a Board Member at FIBRES Online. Additionally, they have served as the Chairman of the Board and a Board Member at Fixura Ab Oy since 2016.

Marcus Wikars attended The Los Angeles Film School from 2006 to 2007. No further details regarding their degree or field of study were provided.
