Lon Neumann is a highly experienced audio engineering professional, currently serving as Principal at Neumann Technologies since January 2018, specializing in immersive and spatial audio systems. Neumann has a robust background in media infrastructure for music, HDTV, cinema, OTT, and streaming, previously occupying roles as a Sales Engineer and Consulting Engineer. Active participation in standards development is evident through ongoing memberships with the Audio Engineering Society and the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers. Neumann has also held leadership positions, including Principal at the Immersive Audio Alliance, and has extensive experience with surround sound, loudness management, and audio system design across multiple industries.
