Kimio Hamasaki is a distinguished professional in the field of audio and visual media, currently serving as a Guest Lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts since April 2021 and as the President of ARTSRIDGE LLC since October 2014. With extensive experience since 1982 at NHK, Japan Broadcasting Corporation, Kimio led research on immersive audio and managed audio production for various programs and international collaborations. Kimio has held multiple leadership roles within the Audio Engineering Society, including Co-chair of the Technical Committee on Broadcast & Online Delivery and Chair of the Technical Committee on Audio Recording and Mastering Systems. Educational credentials include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Acoustics and audio engineering from Kyushu Institute of Design.
