Manya Sahakyan is a highly experienced Computational Linguist and Development Engineer specializing in speech recognition and dialog management, currently serving at AUDI AG since October 2012. Manya has led the development of NLU-based speech dialogue systems and has industrialized statistical language model technology for Audi's car human-machine interface across multiple regions. Previous roles include Engineering Consultant at Panasonic Automotive Systems, Speech Technology Expert at Linguistic Factory, and Head of Linguistic Development at HMI Human Machine Intelligence GmbH, among others. Manya's academic background includes an MSc in Computational Linguistics from the University of Stuttgart and an MSc in German language and literature studies from The Yerevan State Linguistic University.
