Paula Cooper is an experienced professional in the fields of technology, cleantech, and the green economy, currently serving as Manager Tech Industry at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited since December 2020, where leadership of the Tech Tāmaki Makaurau programme aims to grow Auckland’s technology sector. With a background at Auckland Tourism, Events & Economic Development (ATEED) as a Growth Programme Specialist focusing on the green economy and previously as a Business & Innovation Advisor, Paula has supported small to medium-sized businesses in accessing R&D funding. Prior experience includes roles at the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, Thermo Fisher Scientific ANZ, Cambio Ltd, Invitrogen, and DNA Research Innovations, alongside robust academic qualifications in Biological Sciences and Management from The University of Waikato and the University of London.
