Nicola Gray is an experienced professional in transport safety and stakeholder engagement, currently serving as the Technical Lead for Transport Safety at Auckland Transport since April 2019. Nicola has a proven track record of driving road safety outcomes through leadership and partnership building with various external organizations such as NZ Transport Agency, Worksafe, ACC, and New Zealand Police. Previous roles include Senior Advisor - Safe System at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency during a secondment, Stakeholder and Communications Advisor for the Ara Tūhono – Pūhoi to Warkworth motorway project, and Senior Regional Road Safety Advisor at Auckland Transport. Nicola's foundational experience in youth development was gained through roles at Auckland Council and Rodney District Council, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Studies in Business Information Systems from Massey University.
