Adrian Lord is an experienced transportation professional specializing in cycling, walking, and sustainable transport policy and strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Cycling at Auckland Transport since July 2022, Adrian previously held the position of Associate Director at Phil Jones Associates from April 2015 to June 2022, working with clients such as the Department for Transport and Transport for London. As an Infrastructure Consultant for British Cycling between September 2013 and May 2020, Adrian collaborated with notable figures like Nick Chamberlain and Chris Boardman to advocate for improved cycling infrastructure. Previous roles include Associate positions at Steer Davies Gleave and Arup, as well as transport planning work with Allott and Lomax / Babtie and Leeds City Council.
