Kionna Coleman is an experienced communication professional currently serving as the Executive Director at Auburn University since November 2023. Previously, Kionna held multiple roles at NC State's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences from August 2016 to October 2023, including Assistant Chief Communications Officer, where Kionna led an award-winning marketing services group focused on supporting various academic and research initiatives. Kionna also expanded the college's communications into a full-service marketing unit and developed project processes for quality control. Prior to that, Kionna worked at Knobility Communications as a Content Producer and Communication Strategist, collaborated on brand promotion with companies, directed social media strategy at Lenovo as a Program Manager, and counseled clients at French/West/Vaughan as a Senior Account Executive. Kionna began the professional journey as a Senior Editor for MR Magazine, overseeing editorial content. Kionna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a focus on Media Production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
