Burton Crenshaw currently serves as the President and Development Director at Central Alabama Community Foundation since September 2008, and has held the position of Adjunct Professor at Auburn University since August 2019. Burton Crenshaw earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computational Science from Hollins University, where studies were completed between 1986 and 1990, following education at The Montgomery Academy from 1974 to 1986.
