Bernadette Stewart is a seasoned crime analyst with extensive experience in law enforcement and criminology. Current role as a Crime Analyst at Auburn Police Department began in September 2021. Previously, Bernadette served as a Senior Crime Analyst at IXP Corporation, where responsibilities included consulting on crime analysis for client sites and operating as an embedded crime analyst at Salina Police Department. At Salina Police Department, Bernadette founded and led a crime analysis unit and managed intelligence analysis for the I70-I135 Drug Task Force. Academic background includes a Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of South Florida and a Ph.D. (ABD) in the same field, along with previous degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies and Biophysics. Bernadette has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor and Graduate Assistant, and has practical experience from internships across various law enforcement agencies.
