Beth Ritchie possesses extensive experience in legal and policy roles, particularly in criminal justice reform and family safety. Currently serving as Assistant Director for both the Criminal Justice Reform Taskforce and Family Safety Branch at the Attorney-General's Department since October 2020, Beth previously worked as a solicitor at the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission and held various positions at St. Andrew's Refugee Services, advancing from Senior Legal Officer to Coordinator of the Unaccompanied Children and Youth Legal Aid Program. Additionally, experience at the Office of Public Prosecutions in Victoria and the Domestic Violence Crisis Service ACT highlights a commitment to advocacy in domestic violence and refugee support. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in Anthropology from The Australian National University.
