Francis Campion, MD, FACP, serves as the Principal Lead for Digital Health and Group Leader for Health AI at MITRE since September 2019, overseeing the largest real-world evidence study in the United States. As an Internal Medicine Physician at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates since 2005, Francis has treated patients within the largest medical group of the Atrius Health system. Previous roles include Senior Clinical Informaticist at IBM Watson Health, Chief Medical Officer at Ayasdi and Dovetail Health, and Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Alere Analytics, where Francis focused on integrating artificial intelligence and improving healthcare delivery. Francis also contributed to clinical informatics at Atrius Health and held various leadership positions in clinical integration and internal medicine practice throughout a distinguished career that began after earning an MD from Harvard Medical School.
