Laura Gaigala is an experienced database administrator with a robust background in database management and IT infrastructure. Currently serving as a Senior Database Administrator at atrify since July 2019, Laura oversees the administration, planning, and optimization of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases, with a notable achievement in migrating approximately 10TB of data from Oracle to PostgreSQL. Prior to this, Laura held the position of Advanced Database Administrator at Amadeus IT Group, focusing on Oracle RAC and MariaDB clusters, and served as a Senior Oracle DBA at Eesti Energia, managing critical production database systems. Earlier career experiences include leading IT infrastructure at airBaltic and system administration roles at SIA Rigas Udens and Swedbank, where Laura advanced from IT Helpdesk specialist to senior DBA and IT infrastructure team lead in the Moscow office.
