Claudia (Cecilia) Maldonado is an accomplished entrepreneur and engineer, currently serving as Founder and CEO of Atrevida Science since January 2018. Under Claudia's leadership, Atrevida Science has received several accolades, including the NSF Phase I STTR award and recognition as a finalist in the 2020 Cleantech Open Northeast. Prior to this role, Claudia founded ModernEnergy and held positions at Maxabel Dynamics, Round Rock ISD, and Austin Independent School District, where notable contributions included developing educational tools that improved student performance. Claudia's engineering expertise was also demonstrated in roles with National Instruments, Affiliated Computer Services, Westinghouse Electric Company, and Hallmark Cards, culminating in a solid foundation in quality management and manufacturing engineering. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis in Statistics from Kansas State University.
