Carlos Santos Pérez is a seasoned professional in the audiovisual and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of OTT Video Encoding and OTT Video Coding and Streaming Architect at ATRESMEDIA since November 2015. Previously, Carlos owned CreawebTV, a cloud video streaming hosting service, and co-founded bc-techs, focusing on transport, coding, and access rights for digital video. With extensive experience at SIDSA, Carlos held various key positions including General Manager of the IPTV Business Area and CTO, overseeing significant projects in IPTV technology. Carlos's early career involved microelectronic design and engineering roles at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Audiovisual Business Management from EAE Business School and an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications, specializing in Microelectronics, from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
