John Slump is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the medtech and medical device industries. Currently serving as CEO/President and Co-Founder of Atraverse Medical, Inc. since July 2022, John leads a company focused on next-generation left-heart access technology. Concurrently, John holds the role of CFO at Volta Medical, which develops AI software for cardiac electrophysiologists. Previously, John served as CFO for Surgical Innovation Associates, where the focus was on innovations in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and co-founded FARAPULSE, a medical device company that pioneered cardiac ablation techniques and was acquired by Boston Scientific. John's entrepreneurial journey also includes founding OmniLife and Attune Medical, both of which developed proprietary solutions to address pressing healthcare challenges. Educationally, John holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
