Benjamin Allen began their career as an IT Tutor and Desktop Support at Anoka Technical College in 2014. Benjamin then moved to Pillsbury United Communities as an IT Consultant in 2015. In the same year, they joined Atomic Data as a NOC Technician Level I, where they were responsible for maintaining awareness of Atomic and customer infrastructure. Benjamin was then promoted to NOC Technician Level II and NOC Technical Lead Level III. In 2018, they were promoted to System Engineer, where they designed, implemented, and supported enterprise solutions across a variety of platforms and applications. In 2020, they returned to Anoka Technical College as an Adjunct Faculty of Information Technology.

Benjamin Allen obtained an Associate's degree in Information Technology: Convergence Technologies from Anoka Technical College in 2015. Benjamin also holds a VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2022 certification from VMware, which they obtained in June 2022.
