Carolina Achong is an experienced BIM Coordinator at ATMI Precast since July 2020, specializing in the development and maintenance of Tekla Structures applications, along with providing technical assistance to the engineering department and preparing shop drawings for precast buildings. Prior experience includes roles as a Structural Designer at BLDD Architects, where Carolina prepared building models and construction documents using Autodesk Revit, and Engineer I at Perry & Associates, LLC, where structural calculations and detailing were performed. Carolina also completed internships at Illini Union and the University of Illinois Facilities & Services, contributing to structural investigations and space management. Carolina holds a Master of Architecture with a Structures Concentration and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
