Björn Eriksson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Björn started their career as a Project Assistant and later became a Ph.D. Student at Karlstad University, where their research focused on capillary liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis. During this time, they also provided teaching assistance and conducted practical work building and programming equipment for their studies.

In 2006, Björn joined Cambrex as an Analytical Chemist, collaborating with process chemists and engineers to upscale API and intermediate processes. Björn performed various analyses using chromatography, NMR, titration, and wet chemistry. Björn also developed methods for quality determination, in-process analysis, and cleaning analysis.

From 2014 to 2021, Björn worked at hemCheck Sweden AB as CTO. Björn joined the company in its early stage and played a crucial role in taking the product from an early prototype to a market-ready stage. Björn'sresponsibilities encompassed research, product development, project leadership, production setup, and regulatory considerations.

Most recently, in 2020, Björn joined Atley Solutions as their CTO, where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Björn Eriksson's education history begins in 1996 at Karlstad University. From 1996 to 2000, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering. During the same period, they also completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Analytical Chemistry. Continuing their studies, Björn Eriksson pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Analytical Chemistry from 1996 to 2006 at Karlstad University.
