Taroon Mandhana serves as SVP and Head of Engineering for Products & AI at Atlassian since December 2022, overseeing engineering for a suite of products including Jira, Confluence, and Trello. Prior to this role, Mandhana was a Corporate Vice President at Microsoft from July 2020 to December 2022, leading the Web Experiences Team focused on content-based products. Mandhana's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at Facebook, where responsibilities encompassed Facebook Marketplace and search relevance, significantly enhancing user engagement across various platforms. Additionally, Mandhana held multiple senior positions at Microsoft from 2001 to 2014, contributing to Bing's search quality and Wi-Fi connectivity features in Windows operating systems. Mandhana holds an M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
